Search Engine Optimization has been a big topic this past year. It seems that any one doing business on the Internet would be aware of the need to become ranked by the major search engines. The fact is that there are a lot of business people that still believe the "build it and they will come" method of creating a website presence will work for their business, only to become disappointed in the realization of the effort required to build and maintain a great site.
We usually get a call from people seeking SEO (Search Engine Optimization) information once they realize that the traffic the hoped for, just is not coming into their site.
The fact is that we are always excited to see a business owner take a real interest in their website. After all, they have the most to gain (or lose) in the process, and we love providing real world information to help them make the very most of their investment.
Here at CDMWorld, we use a lot of different techniques to support our own SEO efforts. Some of these techniques have to do with getting good content, building brand, working on back linking, and probably the most important...proper keywords located throughout the site.
We use a software tool call Keyword Elite to search for and really understand keywords. This software will search for and reveal keywords that are highly used on major search engines and will even help us find obscure keywords that generate a lot of traffic.
I really don't know how any one would be able to really see or understand keywords without using a tool like Keyword Elite , and my fear would be that they are simply typing in the fist several words that come to their mind.
I guess some may get lucky with that approach, but it has not been my experience that too many hunters are able to get the game, by shooting randomly into the forest.
